Editor’s pick

Ashen Crown Saga
RPG

Ashen Crown Saga

★★★★★ 4.6

Ashen Crown Saga is the kind of mobile RPG that actually respects your attention. The story follows a disgraced knight rebuilding a broken order, and the writing has enough bite that I found myself skipping fewer dialogue boxes than usual. Choices matter in small ways — a companion you're rude to might leave a fight early later on.

  • Genuinely well-written main story
  • Flexible skill trees that reward experimentation
  • Turn-based combat that stays clear and tactical

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

Mostly it comes down to what someone on the team is genuinely curious about. We look for games with a story worth following, a smart progression loop, or controls that feel right on a phone. Genre doesn't limit us — we cover everything from strategy to cosy sims.

Do developers pay you for reviews?

No, and they never will. We buy or download games ourselves and write what we honestly think. A score on Pocket Quest can't be bought, which is the whole reason the site exists.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely — we love suggestions. Drop us an email with the title and a line about why you think it's worth our time. We read everything, though we can't promise to cover every game.

Do you review small or unusual games too?

Yes, and those are often our favourites. We've written up everything from big RPGs to simple one-thumb games like Big Bass Blast. If a game has something interesting going on, size and popularity don't matter to us.
