The variety of spots helps a lot. Moving from a calm lake to a fast river changes the rhythm, and the game does a nice job of introducing new fish gradually so you're always learning something. I also appreciated that everything works with one thumb — I played most of my sessions with a coffee in the other hand.

My one tip: don't rush to the harder spots. Spend time learning the timing on the early fish first, because the meter gets tighter fast and it's easier to build the muscle memory when the pressure is low.
